JAMMU, Jan 18: Rouble Nagi, Member, Panel of Community Leaders of National Commission for Minorities, India called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, today.
Zubair Ahmed Ganie, BJP District President Kulgam and Veer Saraf, senior BJP leader from Anantnag also called on Lieutenant Governor.
A delegation of JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association led by Association Chairman, Uttam Deep Sharma also met Lieutenant Governor and discussed the key issues of Upper Roopnagar Housing Colony.
During meeting, the delegation demanded reopening of JDA Community Hall/Club which is closed for the past decade.
The delegation members emphasised the importance of this facility as a hub for cultural, social and recreational activities urging its swift restoration to the benefit of the community.
In addition to this, the delegation discussed day-to-day maintenance and development challenges and proposed upgradation activities to improve Colony’s living conditions and infrastructure.
The LG gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured of timely redressal of the concerns brought forward.
B.K Sharma, Association president; M.L Gupta, senior vice president; Sagar Bodh Raj Dogra, secretary (org) and G.R Sharma, executive member were also present in the delegation.
