UDHAMPUR, Nov 27: On the initiative of Rotary Club Udhampur, 2nd batch of two more children were sent to Escorts Hospital New Delhi for heart surgeries.
Mubarak, son of  Farid Ahmed, age 20 months, resident of  Chatru, Kishtwar and Purvashi (4 years), daughter of Rajesh Kumar of  Kishtwar, are suffering from various heart diseases. The patients will be operated at Escort Heart Institute, New Delhi free of cost.
Rotary Club Udhampur has so far registered 39 patients for heart surgery who will operated similarly for the treatment. The heart surgeries of the patients are carried out under the “Gift of Life” project of Rotary International, to save the lives of children suffering from heart ailment.
Rotary Club Udhampur has particularly mentioned that contribution of Rtn A C Peter, national coordinator of “Gift of Life” program of Rotary International, for giving special priority to the poor patient of J & K State.
