JAMMU, July 21: Rotary Club, Rajouri, organised a mega health camp at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar for poor children suffering from congenital heart disease, which was organized in collaboration with Rotary Gift of Life Trust, New Delhi (NCR).
About 150 poor children were screened today to be sent to Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, for free surgery.
Eminent team of doctors including Dr K S Iyer, Dr Parvathi Iyer and Dr Rajat Gupta screened the patients.
Shabir Ahmed Khan, Minister of State for Health, was the chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated the role of Rotary Club Rajouri in serving above self.
Padamshree, Sushil Gupta, District Governor, DGE, DGN, PDGs, other eminent Rotarians from different States besides the Directors of Fortis Escorts Heart Institute New Delhi, spoke on the occasion.
