JAMMU, July 11: Rotary Club SIDCO Bari Brahmana today dedicated a new ambulance for the needy patients in area.
A program in this regard was held at Bari Brahmana Sarore in which the ambulance was formally dedicated by BJP State vice president Chander Parkash Ganga and District Development Commissioner Samba R K Varma in presence of Rotary Club members.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC R K Varma applauded the work done by the Rotary Club Bari Brahmana and assured full cooperation from the district administration to the club for the welfare of the society.
BJP State vice president Chander Prakash Ganga, in his address, also praised the club for its activities of helping the poor and needy person of the society.
Club president Jai Ram Sharma said that Rotary International is the biggest NGO participating in the largest health project of the world Polio eradication.
Club secretary Rajan Badyal introduced the club members to DDC R K Varma.
Club members Balbir Singh, Romesh Badial and Rajan Badyal were awarded as Best Rotarian of the year for their commendable work.
The other senior member of the club, including Mohinder Gupta, Kewal Gupta, Dwarka Sharma, Purshotam and Ved Verma were also present on the occasion.
