JAMMU, Jan 3: Rotary Club of Jammu city here today organized an interactive session with Amandeep Group of Hospitals on Arthritis.
Key speaker in the session was Dr. Avtar Singh, Director of Orthopedics at Amandeep Hospital.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Avtar Singh threw light on ways to prevent pain in knee joints and to prevent arthritis, early detection of diseases in knee joint, myths about treatment, when to go for surgery etc.
He stressed upon the audience to follow consistent exercise to keep the joints strengthened and bone structure healthy.
Dr Avtar Singh said that Robotic Knee Replacement Surgery is overtaking the conventional joint pain treatments these days.
He also requested the audience to bring forward poor kids with cleft lips for free surgeries undertaken by Amandeep Hospital sponsored under SMILE Train Programme.
Arun Ninawat, President Rotary Club Jammu city appealed Amandeep Hospital to help poor patients referred by the Club.
