JAMMU, Mar 17: A meeting of general body members of Roopnagar JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association was held under the chairmanship of Uttam Deep Sharma.
During the meeting, the participants sought attention of the authorities towards the dilapidated condition of the roads in almost all the sectors of the colony which also needs immediate attention and blacktopping.
It has also been noticed that road leading to sector number 7 is being used as a parking by the public transport pliers by parking their vehicles endangering the pedestrians and private car owners of inhabitants of this sector. The concerned authority has been requested to take immediate cognizance of the matter and the road shall be kept free from unauthorized parking of the non residents of the colony.
Among others present were present were KR Bhagnathia, Ashok Gupta, Jyoti Khajuria, YS Charak, M Fotedar, Nand Lal Bhat, Mohan Lal Gupta, Advocate Sudershan Sharma, Counsellor Shanti Saroop Sharma, etc.
