JAMMU, Mar 28: A delegation of Roopnagar Muthi led by Corporator of Ward number 67, Suraj Prakash Padha, along with Tehsildar Jammu North, Jai Singh, called on DC Jammu, Avny Lavasa, here today.
As per a statement, the visiting delegation apprised the DC Jammu about the damage done to the boundary wall of the Shiv Shakti Mandir, near Education office, Roopnagar Muthi, by the field officers of the Jammu Development Authority (JDA).
The DC Jammu gave a patient hearing to the delegation and later issued on-the-spot directions to the ADC Jammu and VC JDA to visit the spot and settle the issue at the earliest.
Accordingly, the demarcation of the damaged boundary wall was carried out in presence of the deputed officers and it was assured to the delegation that the same wall would be built without wasting any time.
On behalf of the delegation, the Corporator of the area, Suraj Prakash Padha, has thanked the DC Jammu for her timely intervention into the matter.
