JAMMU, Dec 11: A delegation from Roop Nagar JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association led by its chairman, Uttam Deep Sharma here today met Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Urban Forestry Jammu, Ashwani Kumar Mittal and discussed the demands concerning the community.
These demands included repair of intermesh wires securing green spaces, removal of fencing tree guards around mature trees, plantation of ornamental trees in degraded and untapped areas and cleaning of garbage waste thrown inside the green fenced strip.
The DFO listened to the issues raised by the delegation and assured timely redressal.
The delegation comprised of Association president, B.K Sharma, general secretary, Vinod Vaid and executive members Nand Lal Bhat and M.L Fotedar.
