Road Safety XI to take on JCC in summit clash on May 7

JAMMU, May 3: Road Safety XI will take on JCC in the summit clash of the 5th Jammu Tawi Premier T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Cricket Club at GGM Science College hospital ground on May 7.
In the first semis, Road Safety XI defeated KCCC by 3 wickets and entered into the final.
Batting first, KCCC made 105 runs by losing all the wickets in 18.5 overs. Bandeep Singh, Jatin and Monish made 19, 15 and 12 runs respectively.
From Road Safety XI side, Ashwani scalped 2 wickets, while Balwan and Rajesh Gill shared one wicket each.
In reply, Road Safety XI chased the target in 16.5 overs by losing 7 wickets. Gourav, Nasir and Pankaj chipped in 19, 18 and 17 runs respectively.
From KCCC side, Ankush and Sahil took 2 wickets each, while Vishal took one wicket.
Gourav of Road Safety XI was adjudged as Man of Match.
In the second semifinal, JCC registered win over RCC by a huge margin of 87 runs.
Batting first, JCC scored 181 runs by losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Surya was the top scorer with 60 runs, while Shubham and Paras made 57 and 42 runs respectively.
From RCC side, Praful, Hardeep and Puneet scalped 1 wicket each.
In the second inning, RCC bundled out at paltry 94 runs by losing all the wickets in 15.4 overs. Hardeep Singh, Nitin and Satish made 32, 31 and 8 runs respectively.
From JCC side, Deepak Dogra scalped 3 wickets, while Ankush Gill and Rahil Singh took 2 wickets each.
Shubham of JCC was declared as Man of the Match.
The matches were officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Ashok Singh, Sandeep Manchanda and Surender Kumar as umpires, while Vinod Kandyara acted as scorer.
