Revamp of decision making

Sir,
Refer news item’ Revamp of decision making process’ DE Feb. 5.
It will be in the interest of the people of the State, in case people-friendly reforms are implemented. The people are quite dissatisfied with the working of officialdom in the State. Red-tape, nepotism and favouritism are other impediments in getting things done. One has to make frequent rounds to offices to inquire about small things. The arrogant bureaucracy and clerical staff do not even bother to listen to grievances, leave aside finding a solution to them.
Only those succeed in their efforts who are vocal, or can exert influence. And those who do not enjoy this position get victimised and have to pay a price. The Governments in the past would often assure people that they are working for the betterment of common men, but in reality common men was never a beneficiary.
Hope the new dispensation would work for welfare of people in the State.
Yours etc…
