JAMMU, Apr 14: A deputation of ReT Teachers Forum, led by its State president Vinod Sharma, today called on Education Minister Naeem Akhtar at his official residence in Jammu and apprised him about the grievances of ReT cadre.
The Forum demanded regularization of Distance Mode Degree holders of all UGC recognized universities and KGBV teachers, initiating regularization process of ReTs with less enrollment, streamlining of SSA salary as same is pending for the last 3-4 months, release of pay arrears of regularized ReT Teachers/DA arrears/6th Pay Commission installments etc, implementation of High Court order regarding transfer policy, release of Mid Day Meal dues and extending benefits of SRO- 43 in favour of ReTs in the initial period of 5 years.
The minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured them to resolve their all issues including regularization of Distance mode degree holders etc at the earliest. The deputation comprised of Bhupinder Singh, Najam Jafri, Sukhdev Singh, Rajesh Singh, Naresh Sharma, Sham Parkash, Gulzabir Daing, Subash Chander, Ravinder Singh, Navjot Singh, Hari Lal and Joginder Singh.
