JAMMU, Dec 4: Pressing for immediate consideration of their demands, the members of J&K Grameen Bank Retirees Association Jammu held a protest demonstration in front of J&K Grameen Bank Head Office, Narwal, here today.
Carrying placards and banners, the protesting retired employees raised slogans in support of their demands and sought consideration of the same.
They were demanding full implementation of 12th bi partite settlement /9th Joint Note on wage revision/ex-Gratia in favour of pensioners of J&K Grameen Bank.
They were also demanding immediate withdrawal of Indemnity Bond condition for claiming benefits of computer increment and pension arrears from the year November 1993, disbursement of ex-gratia arrears in favor of the pensioners from the year Nov 2022 and , issuance of sheets in respect of arrears detail.
The protest demonstration was addressed by Jagdev Singh, CS Toor, Ranbir Singh, Dhanwant Singh (President), Rashpaul Singh (General Secretary), B D Sangral, K S Langeh, Rameshwar Singh Sumbria, M S Bhau and others.
The protest demonstration concluded with the address by Rampaul Sharma, who vowed to continue the struggle till all demands of the retirees are considered by the authorities.
