JAMMU, Aug 23: The Retired Officers Forum, Jammu, in collaboration with the Government of India and the Ayushman Office, Nodal Officer J&K State, organized a program to issue Ayushman Cards to senior citizens aged 70 years and above. This scheme is an additional benefit to the previously issued Ayushman Cards covering Rs 5.00 lakh for entire families.
The event took place at the Office Hall of Scouts & Guides, Gandhi Nagar, near the Head Post Office, under the chairmanship of I.D. Soni, President of the Retired Officers Forum. A large number of senior citizens availed the benefit through on-the-spot issuance facilitated by Prateek and his team from the Nodal Officer’s office. The program also featured live demonstrations of Pranayam, Yoga and Meditation by forum members.
The initiative was organized under the guidance of SC Rekhi, General Secretary. Notable attendees included K.B. Jandial, Prem Gupta, KS Samyal, Ashok Gupta, Harbhajan Singh, RC Vaid, Parmod Jain and PC Gupta.
