Residents Welfare Committee depu meets MD Housing Board

KATHUA, Mar 10: A delegation of the Resident Welfare Committee of Housing Colony Kathua led by Dr. Shashi Pal Singh met Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza, Managing Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board Jammu and submitted a detailed charter of demands to him.
During the meeting, Dr. Shashi Pal Singh apprised the Managing Director of the various difficulties being faced by residents of the J&K Housing Board Colony in Kathua. He highlighted key concerns including the deteriorating condition of internal roads and drains, inadequate boundary fencing, the need for construction of a commercial complex, covering of the deep drain, repair of street and mast lights, proper maintenance of parks, installation of a height gauge at the colony entrance and extension of the road from NH-44 to Kuke Chak.
The Managing Director the delegation that he would personally visit the colony to assess the issues. He also issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers for prompt redressal of the grievances.
The delegation comprised Prof. (Dr.) Ram Murti Sharma, Kuldeep Goswami, Narinder Kumar Sharma, Dr. Mugdeshwar Sharma, Ram Krishan, Darbari Lal, Parkash Singh, Zulfi Singh, Pavnesh Vashisht, and Surinder Kumar Khajuria.
