KISHTWAR, Mar 26: The residents of Shakti Nagar and nearby areas today held protest against PDD for its failure to repair the transformer feeding hundreds of consumers of Shakti Nagar, Shaheedi Road and adjoining areas.
The protestors gathered in front of PDD Office and stopped the vehicular movement. They raised slogans against PDD.
On getting information, Tehsildar Fulail Singh and SHO Sameer Jeelani rushed to the spot and pacified the agitators.
After assurance from officers of PDD to repair the transformer, the protestors dispersed.
