UDHAMPUR, Dec 27: A residential house was completely gutted at village Kotli Bala Panchayat in Udhampur District.
Even as there was no loss of life or injuries to anyone, the house belonging to Fakir Chand, village Hansu in Kotli Bala Panchayat was completely gutted in the fire that broke out late last night.
All the family members managed to come out safely with the help of locals while all the household items and belongings were completely lost in the incident. The exact cause of fire could not be ascertained.
Fakir Chand has appealed to the administration for assistance, stating that he has suffered considerable losses due to the fire. The police have taken cognizance of the matter.
