BHADERWAH, Feb 14: A single-storey residential house was completely gutted here today in Sarol Bagh area.
The burnt house belonged to Ravi Kumar, son of Inder Dass.
Immediately after getting information regarding the fire, personnel from Fire and Emergency Services assisted by cops rushed to the spot and launched an operation to douse the flames.
After sustained efforts, the fire was extinguished but by then all the household items in the house were reduced to ashes. However, there was no loss of life or injuries anyone in the incident.
Meanwhile, some locals claimed that fire tenders reached the spot late due to which the blaze intensified causing more damage.
Police has taken cognisance and are investigating the cause of fire.
