KISHTWAR, Mar 30: A residential house was gutted here today in Thakrie area.
Sources informed that fire started in the house of one Abdul Gani, son of Noor Din, resident of Korna Pakalan, Thakrai and destroyed all the household items there.
On getting news of the fire locals and Police personnel from the Police Post Thakrie led by ASI Shabir Goursi reached the spot and started efforts to douse the blaze and a fire tender was also rushed from Kishtwar but by then the fire had inflicted massive damage to the house and all the household items with some cash kept there was reduced to ashes.
However, there was no loss of life in the incident.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation to ascertain the reasons behind the fire incident.
