BHADERWAH, Apr 18: A residential house was damaged in Thata village of Diggi Panchayat due to incessant rain, a police official said.
The residential house was owned by Bittu Kumar, son of Amarnath.
Cognizance has been taken by concerned police station.
However, the family members alleged that the house collapsed due to the road construction work by PMGSY.
“Despite repeated written requests to the PMGSY authorities to built retaining wall right beneath the house since 2015, they hardly took any notice. Due to their pathetic attitude, today we have no roof on our heads”, said Bittu Kumar, owner of the house.
