SRINAGAR, Jan 19: The Central Non-Gazetted Electrical Employees today reiterated its demand of reorganization of Power Development Department.
In a statement, Zahoor Aalam, State Publicity Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Central Non-Gazetted Electrical Employees Union (JKCNGEEU) said this demand along with the other issue were raised during the state wide functions held in connection with 27th anniversary of JKCNGEEU. The other demands raised by the union include issuance of district wise seniority list of daily wagers in PDD and PDC.
The publicity secretary said that power projects under the control of Union Government should be handed over to the state so that the economy of the state gets a boost. He said pending arrears of daily wagers regularized before March 31, 1994 should be released at the earliest. He said new posts of lineman, telephone operator and SBA should be created.
