JAMMU, Oct 25: Kashmiri migrant relief holders and over aged youth who are on dharna in front of Relief Commissioner’s Office for last 86 days today warned that they will be forced to take extreme step in case Government further delays the decision on enhancement of cash relief to them.
Ravinder Raina spokesman of the relief holders and over aged youth in a statement today said that it is difficult for the relief holders to make their both ends meet on the meager cash relief by Government which has totally failed to rehabilitate the over aged displaced youth in last 23 years.
He reiterated his demand regarding enhancement of relief to Rs 1200 per month per family as the same has been recommended by the State Government to Centre.
He also made an appeal to Union Government urging it to take an immediate decision in the matter so that the displaced relief holders are relieved of their problems.
