Sir,
Now, the new Govt has started functioning in State and the pensioners of the State have high hopes from the Government. The pensioners expect that in the first cabinet meeting, the 12 percent DA from July 2015 and Jan 2016 will be released and the increase in the Medical Allowance will be raised from Rs 300 PM to Rs 1500 PM. The pensioners also wants Mediclaim Insurance.

Sir,
Way back in July 2015, the Central Government released DA installment at the rate of 6 percent to its employees and pensioners with respect to rise or fall in price index. The same was expected by the State Govt employees and pensioners as a matter of routine, may be after three or four months, later but it is disturbing that the DA installment has not been released even after the lapse of 10 months for the reasons best known to the concerned authorities although monetary budget provision is kept in the yearly budget. The Central Government has released another installment of DA at the rate of 6 percent with effect from January 16 but how can the State employees and pensioners expect the same from State Government when the July installment is nowhere. This kind of apathetic attitude on the part of authorities is nothing but a cruel joke with the employees and pensioners in particular. The latter being mostly dependent on pension, pin big hopes on the new dispensation and expect that the long pending demand is conceded as early as possible by releasing both the installments of DA.
Yours etc…..
