JAMMU, Apr 16: The chief patron of National Panthers Party (NPP) Prof Bhim Singh today said that with the regional political parties gaining strength, a third front, keeping Congress-BJP out, would take up the national command after the Lok Sabha elections are over.
Talking to media persons here this afternoon, Prof Singh who is also party candidate from Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat said that in view of the emerging scenario, it has been concluded that a non-Congress and non-BJP Government shall be formed at the Centre with the support of many regional parties. The regional parties actually represent the true aspirations of the people of their respective areas.
The NPP leader also appreciated the stand taken by Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jai Lalitha and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Benerjee regarding formation of Government at the Centre. Prof Bhim Singh said that the poll trends so far held have revealed the trend that both the Congress and the BJP have entered anti-climax and neither of them shall be in position to gain majority even with the support of their respective groups. Neither Narendra Modi nor Rahul Gandhi shall get the opportunity to lead the national Government.
It is the grand opportunity for the electorates of Jammu and Kashmir to reject both Congress and BJP or their alliance partners in J&K to that the corrupt, communal and criminal elements are eliminated from J&K politics. NPP is the only nationalist, secular opposition party in J&K fighting BJP, NC and Congress, he added.
