NEW DELHI, Apr 10: REFUsol, a technological leader in providing photovoltaic inverters, today said it has become part of the American technology company Advanced Energy.
The two companies have closed an agreement to this effect, an official statement said.
Both firms have complementary product portfolios. For instance, REFUsol’s primary focus is on three-phase string inverters, whereas Advanced Energy has focused on larger central inverters, the statement said.
“By joining up with Advanced Energy, we now rank among the world’s leading manufacturers of photovoltaic inverters,” Michael Seehuber, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of REFUsol GmbH said.
“Besides our proven REFUsol products, our customers around the world will also benefit from the complementary nature of our product portfolios and broader scale access to the market in the future,” he added. (PTI)
