GCET has no recruitment rules Kindly refer to news item in this paper on 26 May, 2014. It looks it is a deliberate attempt to choke the only Government College of Engineering and Technology to a natural death just because it is located in Jammu. Who shall like to be recruited in a faculty where you shall remain dormant in the same status for decades together? That is the reason that 42 posts under different capacities—Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors have remained vacant since 1994. Is the Govt. so dormant that it cannot take any decision? Won’t we like decisions to be quick so that there is no sense of alienation?
