REASI, Dec 24: A youth from Reasi, who is pursuing MBBS in Russia, has been missing there for the last two weeks.
The youth, namely Gaurav Singh Nag, went missing on 10th of December and has been untraceable since then. The matter came to light after Gaurav’s sister, who is also in Russia, called the family members here and informed about his missing.
On 11th December, his sister got a message from roommate of her brother that Gaurav had not come back since last day following which she informed the other family members in Reasi.
“We also questioned the roommate, but he is not telling anything clearly. He says Gaurav left the room and went outside, leaving his phone behind and gave no further information,” said mother of Gaurav Singh, while talking to the Excelsior.
She further alleged that the roommate, namely Vikas from Uttar Pradesh might be knowing everything, where Gaurav went and what happened.
The family has also approached the Ministry of External Affairs for helping them to trace the missing youth.
“Even as Police in Russia is investigating the matter, no clue regarding whereabouts of my brother has been made,” said brother of Gaurav.
