JAMMU, Aug 9: In a function here today Innerwheel Club installed Rattan Prabha as president of Jammu Sampark.
The chief guest on this occasion was Dr. Sapna Gupta, renowned Gynecologist and PDC Dr. Santosh Gupta, renowned academician.
The programme began with Innerwheel Club song sung by few club members followed by collaring the outgoing president Anila Mengi.
Earlier Anila Mengi delivered welcome address and the outgoing president gave a brief resume of calendar of activities.
Finally PDC Dr. Santosh Gupta and chief guest Dr. Sapna Gupta collared the new president Rattan Prabha along with chartered president Reva Raina.
In her address the new president laid emphasis on selective projects and quality projects in order to carry forward the services to the humanity.
She said that JDA Park has been owned by the Club by the dint of hard efforts put by their chartered president Reva Raina.
The Club also engaged a gardener for the maintenance of the Park.
PDC Dr. Santosh Gupta introduced the couple of new Club members by garlanding them with Club Mala.
Sewing Machine and sanitary napkins were also donated on the occasion.
The new president announced her new executive committee with Kusum Kesar as vice president; Santosh Manhas, secretary and Shyama Anand, treasurer, Daisy Shams, editor and Sapna Gupta.
More than 50 members of club participated.
