AKHNOOR, Apr 7: In a meeting here today Ration Dealers Association Akhnoor elected Rattan Lal as Association president.
Other office bearers elected on this occasion were Darshan Lal, vice president; Sham Lal, general secretary; Ranjiv Verma, cashier and Krishna Lal, advisor.
The meeting was chaired by Krishna Lal Sharma.
Speakers in the meeting discussed various problems faced by ration dealers.
The newly formed body resolved to work for the resolution of all the problems being faced by the ration dealers in Akhnoor by meeting the administration and the Government officers.
The newly elected president said that it is necessary for ration dealers and ration card holders to coordinate with each other as this may solve many problems.
Ram Lal, Lucky Mehra, Omprakash, Mukesh Kumar and others were also present on this occasion.
