JAMMU, Feb 2: The members of Fair Price Shop Ration Dealers Association Jammu met the Chief Secretary B R Sharma and urged upon to take necessary steps for streamlining ration supply system and also issue directions to concerned authorities to release pending ration of December 2015 and January 2016.
A deputation of the ration dealers headed by its president Prabhu Dayal Sharma which met the Chief secretary B R Sharma, demanded that pending ration of last two months be released before distribution of ration of the current (February) month. They also stressed the need to ensure better supply and also issue ration in time.
The Chief Secretary assured the ration dealers to improve supply position in Jammu city and outside and also resolve their other genuine issues. Meanwhile, the Association extended gratitude to the Chief Secretary for releasing ration and ensuring supplies in the city and also taking decision to release pending ration.
