RAJOURI, Dec 26: The Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad (RPP), led by President JN Sharma, held an important meeting in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, to discuss the welfare of the Brahmin community and the preservation of Sanatan Dharma.
Several initiatives were announced to support the community’s development and cultural heritage.
A major decision was to offer free education to two Brahmin students each year, along with free books and stationery.
The Parishad also pledged Rs 5 lakh from the President’s personal funds to build a Parshuram Mandir in Rajouri, addressing a long-standing demand from the Brahmin population in the area.
To engage the younger generation, the Parishad introduced incentives for young Brahmins to participate in temple activities and pujas.
Additionally, the Parishad committed to supporting economically disadvantaged Brahmin families, particularly focusing on providing financial aid to girls in need.
For skill development, the Parishad plans to set up training programs through government-supported skill centers to help young people secure jobs.
They also announced the creation of software to digitize religious texts, ensuring the preservation and accessibility of Sanatan Dharma teachings.
In an effort to promote inclusivity, the Parishad extended its support to non-Brahmin individuals who follow Sanatan Dharma principles.
The meeting was attended by RPP leaders, including Vice President Ashwani Sharma, General Secretary Vikrant Sharma, and other senior members.
The session ended with a vote of thanks by Vikrant Sharma.
