JAMMU, Nov 7: Janipur Police have arrested an accused wanted in a rape and criminal breach of trust case registered at Police Station Janipur.
The accused, identified as Sunil Kumar, son of Yog Raj and resident of Sindra Bala in Doda district, was apprehended following specific inputs about his location. A special police team led by PSI Sheetal Rajput conducted a coordinated operation in the Doda area and successfully nabbed the accused.
The arrest was made under the close supervision of SDPO City West Jammu Satish Bhardwaj and SHO Janipur Inspector Vikram Sharma.
Police said further investigation is underway, and efforts are being made to ensure justice to the victim.
