JAMMU, June 2: MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa here today conducted a public outreach tour in Ward No. 45, Digiana and addressed public grievances.
During tour, various issues raised by the residents which included irregular electricity supply, damaged roads, inadequate sanitation, water supply problems and the need for improved street lighting.
The MLA issues on-the-spot directions to the concerned departmental officers regarding the issues and assured the residents that development and infrastructure works will be carried out in time-bound manner.
Randhawa emphasized that such visits are crucial to bridge the gap between the administration and the public.
He reiterated his focus on transparent, responsive and development oriented governance.
The residents expressed satisfaction over the outreach initiative and appreciated MLA’s continuous efforts to bring tangible change at the local level.
Officials from key departments including PDD, PWD, JMC, EESL and PHE along with prominent local leaders and dignitaries including Ritika, Mandal president, Narinder Koki, Sahil Kumar, Sanjay Gupta, Satpaul Choudhary, Varinder Gupta, Vinod and others were also present on the occasion.
