JAMMU, May 26: MLA Bahu Constituency, Ch. Vikram Randhawa here today started the work of house connections with sewerage network in Rajiv Nagar Basti, falling in Ward Nos. 47 and 48.
The project, sanctioned under CAPEX budget, is valued at Rs. 91.60 lakh and aims to improve sanitation and public health infrastructure in the area.
Those who were present on the occasion were concerned Executive Engineer, Ashwani Khajuria, Assistant Executive Engineer, Naresh Kumar and Assistant Engineer, Majid Hussain along with prominent locals including Ajay Sharma, Amit Gupta, Dalbir Singh, Davinder Singh, Yash Pal Chouhan, Pawan Kumar, Mohinder Sharma, Ashok Vaid and others.
Speaking at the event, Randhawa highlighted the importance of modern infrastructure in ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for residents.
He praised the dedication of the engineers and workers involved in the project and appealed to the locals to cooperate with the executing agencies for smooth progress of the work.
The MLA reiterated his commitment to bring more such development projects in Bahu Constituency in near future.
