JAMMU, Aug 22: MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa today inaugurated the construction work of lane and drain at Preet Nagar road in Ward No. 44. The work was started in the presence of concerned officials from Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), including Nisha Bharti (AEE) and Vishal Kotwal (JE).
Prominent dignitaries present on the occasion included Rahul Kumar (Mandal president), Daljeet Singh, Aman Goswami, Surjeet Singh Chopra, Pawan Goswami, Jagdeep Singh, Harshmeet Singh, Vinay Gupta, Rajesh Sharma, along with other local residents. Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said, “The development of proper lanes and drains has been a long-pending demand of the people of this area. It is my firm commitment to ensure that no locality in Bahu constituency is left behind when it comes to basic civic amenities. With the active support of the public and cooperation from JMC officials, we are continuously working to provide better infrastructure, cleaner surroundings, and a healthier environment for our people.”
He further assured that several other developmental works are in the pipeline across different wards and will be executed in a time-bound manner.
The local residents expressed gratitude to MLA Randhawa for taking prompt action to improve basic infrastructure in their area.
