JAMMU, Dec 28: MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa here today started up-gradation work of a Park in Ward number 21.
BJP Mandal president, Rahul Kumar and his team along with local dignitaries and JMC officials from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that public parks are vital for health, recreation and well-being of residents, especially for the children and senior citizens. He reiterated his commitment to improve basic civic amenities and to ensure quality infrastructure in every Ward of the Bahu Constituency.
The up-gradation work of the Park will include improvement of walking tracks, landscaping, installation of benches, proper lighting and overall beautification, to provide a safe and pleasant environment for morning walkers, children and senior citizens.
Locals hoped that the upgraded Park would soon become a clean, green and vibrant space for the community.
