JAMMU, June 28: MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa here today inaugurated the newly constructed lanes and drains in Sector-1 and Sector-2 of Sanjay Nagar.
These lanes-drains were constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 68 lakh under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said, “Infrastructure at grassroots level is the backbone of urban life and we are committed to ensure that no colony is left behind when it comes to basic amenities.”
He also conducted an on-site inspection and reviewed the quality of work and took a note of public suggestions for future improvements.
The MLA also interacted with locals, listened to their grievances and assured them that similar developmental works would soon be initiated in other underdeveloped parts of the Constituency.
Officials from JMC and several prominent locals including Ritika, Mandal president, Narinder, Raj Singh, Happy Sharma, R.K Saini, Lekh Raj, Sham Sharma, Rocky Sharma and Pappu Sharma were also present on the occasion.
