JAMMU, Oct 6: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today visited Shishu Samadian (children graveyard) at Channi Himmat and directed officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to develop and maintain it properly.
Randhawa directed the JMC officials to remove all bushes from the graveyard and also directed to raise a boundary wall. He said as this place is isolated and in the absence of boundary wall and proper gate many outsiders putting up nearby are defecating here which needs to be curbed immediately.
He directed authorities to develop a park, construct a shed and to also make seating arrangement for the people visiting here. He said once a boundary wall with adequate height will be raised none will be able to trespass this place and the infrastructure then developed would also remain safe.
He further directed the team to take up the work of the boundary wall without any further delay.
Others who accompanied MLC include Raj Kumar, Ajay Gupta (both Corporators), Ajay Khajuria, Raghuvir Singh, JPS Jamwal, Vinod Gupta, Satish Sharma, team of JMC officials led by Executive Engineer and others.
