JAMMU, June 30: MLC, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, here today dedicated newly constructed lane and drain to the public at village Khamb in R.S Pura which has been constructed at a cost of Rs 5.50 lakh.
While addressing the people after inaugurating the lane and drain Randhawa said that condition of the lane was very poor earlier as there was no drain and the water logged had been breeding mosquitoes.
He said as the issue was brought to his notice, a detailed project report was prepared and Rs. 5.50 lakh was released from his CDF for the construction of the same.
The MLC urged the people to maintain the lane and drain properly for their longevity as it is now their property and the public is duty bound to take care of all the public properties.
