JAMMU, Feb 26: Senior BJP leader and MLA Bahu constituency, Vikram Randhawa today conducted an extensive tour of Ward 47 in the Bahu Fort area to assess the issues faced by local residents. During his visit, he interacted with the people and listened to their grievances.
Accompanied by JMC Xen Lokesh Gupta, AEE Shamsher Singh, JE Pranav Shivgotra, Ward Supervisor Sonu, former MC Councilor Sharda, Mandal president Surjeet Singh and several local residents, Randhawa inspected various areas and took note of the pressing civic concerns. The residents highlighted issues related to drainage, water supply, sanitation, street lighting and road maintenance.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Randhawa emphasized the BJP’s commitment to public welfare and assured that all grievances would be addressed at the earliest. He directed the JMC officials to expedite necessary repairs and ensure timely implementation of development projects. “My priority has always been to work for the welfare of the people and ensure that basic civic amenities reach every household. The BJP Government is dedicated to delivering good governance and efficient services,” he stated.
The MLA also inspected the sanitation condition in the Ward and urged JMC officials to enhance cleanliness drives in the area. He instructed concerned departments to resolve the drainage issues that have been troubling residents for a long time. Additionally, he assured the public that streetlights and road repairs would be taken up on priority.
The senior BJP leader reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Bahu Fort area and urged the people to remain vigilant about the execution of Government schemes. He assured that similar tours would be conducted frequently to ensure proper monitoring of developmental works and public issues.
