RANCHI, Nov 19:
The Ranchi Civil court today issued a notice to former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah and asked him to appear before the court in person on December 4 or present his side through his lawyers.
Principal Judge of the Civil Court Navneet Kumar issued the notice to the former Chief Minister after lawyer Ranjeet Kumar Singh had filed a petition against Abdullah’s anti-national comments at a function in Uri of Baramulla district of North Kashmir in November 2017.
In his petition Ranjeet had said that the comments of the Abdullah were anti-national and could damage the morale of the soldiers. (UNI)
