KATHUA, June 19: Ranbir Singh was elected as Chairman of Cooperative Society (C S) Kathua in the presence of Board of Directors and Deputy Registrar Cooperate Society, Naresh Sharma after the former chairman Rajinder Singh Bubby lost the Confidence Motion moved against him few days earlier. Three Board of Directors were present out of five and they elected Ranbir Singh as new Chairman.
As per details, three Board of Directors of Kathua Cooperative Marketing Society, expressed No Confidence on former chairman, Rajinder Singh Bubby and submitted a letter to General Manager CMS, Kathua stating there in that Rajinder Singh Bubby has lost their confidence and hence be stripped off from the post.
On the direction of Directors , the Manger of Cooperative Marketing Society called a meeting of five Board of Directors today vide letter no CMS/K/2019-20/97-102 dated 17-06-2019. But only three Board of Directors, Ranbir Singh, Karan Singh and Ravinder Singh attend the meeting in the presence of Dy Director Cooperative Marketing Society, Jammu, Naresh Sharma and Assistant Registrar, Raj Kumar.
The other two Board of Directors Rajinder Singh and Vias Dev did not attend the meeting. They supported Ranbir Singh and No Confidence Motion against Bubby was passed. Ranbir Singh was declared as chairman of the Society.
