Srinagar, Jan 30: After a day’s rest, Ranbir Kapoor today returned to sets in South Kashmir tourist resort of Pahalgam for film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (YJHD) to shoot a song sequence.
Kapoor shot for three days in Kangdoori in ski resort of Gulmarg in North Kashmir between January 26 and 28 and arrived in Pahalgam on January 28 evening. After resting for a day yesterday, Kapoor today shot film song sequences with Deepika Padukone in Pahalgam Golf Course.
Kapoor is shooting at Aru in Pahalgam tomorrow before he moves to Srinagar’s Dal lake to shoot another sequence here.
Kapoor arrived in Gulmarg on January 25 and started shooting at Kongdori in Gulmarg at an altitude of 8875 feet on January 26 where the minimum temperature was minus 10 degree Celsius.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who was in Gulmarg on the last week end hosted dinner in the hotel where the Kapoor was staying. Omar and Kapoor discussed the situation in Kashmir valley and the YJHD.
“It was nice to meet Ranbir Kapoor & Deepika Padukone at the weekend as they filmed in Kashmir. Now waiting for the movie, due on 31/5,” Omar tweeted.
The film is being shot in two extreme temperatures as it was shot in last summer heat in Rajisthan and now it is being shot in sub-zero temperatures at Kongdori, Gulmarg.
Kapoor will be here for at least one week for Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (YJHD). YJHD has been shot in several beautiful locations and there are few song sequences to be shot in Kashmir.
The movie, which also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin, is produced by Dharma Productions. The film has already created a buzz for many reasons, including the fact that it will bring back ex-lovers Ranbir and Deepika on-screen after a long time.
