RAMBAN, July 25: The death toll in the accident in Hingni area of Ramsoo has gone up to six, with one more woman succumbing to her injuries in the hospital, officials said.
Naza Begum, wife of Mohd Iqbal of Neel Bohardaar had sustained serious injuries and died in SKIMS hospital in Srinagar, the officials said.
Two other injured women are under treatment at GMC Hospital in Anantnag, they added.
Five people were killed and three injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Ramban district yesterday. The Scorpio car fell into the deep gorge in Hingni area of Ramsoo, killing two people on the spot. Three persons, who sustained injuries, died in hospitals.
Cognizance in this regard stands taken by Ramsoo Police.
