UDHAMPUR, May 26: A meeting of Vishwakarma Sabha was held here today at the newly constructed temple of Vishwakarma in Ramnagar.
The meeting was chaired by Vijay Kumar Manhas, district president of the Sabha wherein Ramnagar unit of the Sabha was reconstituted and Dev Raj was elected as its president.
Other office bearers elected were Des Raj, working president; Hem Raj Charak, secretary; Ashok Kumar, joint secretary; Preetam Kumar Dhiman, media secretary; Darshan Kumar, advisor; Master Rakesh Kumar, cashier; Tara Chand; vice president; Vijay Kumar, working secretary; Master Hem Raj, Vijay Sham, Makhan Lal, Uttam Chand, Des Raj from Delni, Arjun Kumar and Sushil Salaria-all members.
It was decided on this occasion that each member will donate Rs. 100 per month for the maintenance of the temple.
On this occasion a team from Vishwakarma Library, New Plot distributed calendars of Lord Vishwakarma and magazine Vishwakarma Reporter to those present on the occasion.
The team also distributed trophies and notebooks among meritorious students including Aditi Dhiman, Dheeraj Singh, Mohit Dhiman, Zanat Dhiman and Bharghi Dhiman.
Others present on the occasion were Gurdiyal, Jagdev Chalotra, Om Kataria, Balwant Kataria and Joginder Angotra.
The meeting was organized by Jeewan Kumar Dhiman and Master Hem Raj Charak.
