SRINAGAR, June 30: Ramesh Arora, Member Legislative Council (MLC), called on Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
MLC Arora briefed the Governor about some of the important issues which were discussed in the ongoing Council session.
Governor urged the MLC to continue sustained pursuit of development goals in his area.
Meanwhile, Prof. Manoj Dhar, Director, School of Biotechnology, University of Jammu,called on Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Prof Dhar briefed the Governor about the ongoing programmes in the school of Biotechnology and future plans for making it a school of excellence.
The Governor congratulated Prof Dhar for the valuable research work being done under his leadership and his recent prestigious election as Fellow of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The Governor wished Prof Dhar continuing high success in all his future endeavours.
