JAMMU, July 26: Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre, Ramakrishna Vihar, Udheywala, Jammu, organized a free mega dental camp on Saturday, focusing on oral health and hygiene.
The camp was led by renowned specialist Dr. Rakesh Raina, MDS (PHD), PG in oral implantology with a team from Indira Gandhi Government Dental College and Hospital Amphalla Jammu Department of Public Health Dentistry, Dr. Umesh Padha, Dr. Tanu Gandotra, Dr. Mayank Hali, Dr. Payal Parihar, Dr. Imza Sharma all BDS.
In the cam free consultations were provided by general physicians, ENT Specialist, dental surgeons, Gynaecologist, Eye Specialist and Physiotherapist. Besides, free diagnostic tests were also conducted including, hearing test from Hearclear, Trikuta Nagar Haemoglobin Test, Uric Acid Test, Blood Sugar Test, a full body checkup, including CBC, Lipid Profile, Blood Sugar, TFT, LFT, KFT and Vitamin D, was offered at a discounted rate of Rs 1200/- (against the original cost of Rs 2300/-).
The camp included distinguished guests such as Dr. Harbaksh Singh Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Gautam Mengi, Sunil K Thusu and team from State Health Agency.
A total of 371 patients benefited from the expertise of 12 doctors at this camp.
This health camp formed part of Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre’s ongoing commitment to community welfare, preventive healthcare, and compassionate service.
