Ramakrishna Mission holds multi-speciality health camp

JAMMU, May 23: A one-day free health camp organized by the Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre in Udheywala was held here today.
The health camp provided a comprehensive range of free medical services, including consultations with Allopathy Physicians Dr R D Wazir, Dr B D Sharma, Dr Shakti Kumar, Gynaecologist Dr Manjula Sharma, Dental Surgeons Dr Umesh Padha, Dr Tanu, Ophthalmologist Dr Shekhar Sharma, Dermatologist Dr Suby Kakkar and Dr Meenakshi Jamwal Physiotherapist.
In addition to the free consultations, the camp offered check-ups for blood sugar, Hba1c and blood pressure at no cost.
A full body check-up covering 66 parameters, including CBC, LFT, KFT, Lipid profile, BSF, Urine tests and thyroid function tests (T3, T4, TSH), Vitamin D was available for a nominal fee of Rs 1200, a substantial discount from the usual price of Rs 2300.
A total 256 of patients benefited from the expertise of 9 doctors at this camp.
Besides this 45 HbA1c, Sugar, 56 Uric Acid, 70 Haemoglobin & Body Mass Index tests were done for free of cost.
This camp was a part of Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre’s ongoing commitment to serving the community and providing accessible healthcare services to all.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Yajnadharananda Ji, secretary of Ramakrishna Mission highlighted the organization’s commitment to the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Maa Sarada and Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing service to humanity as a form of divine worship.
