JAMMU, Jun 7: Irking over frequent unscheduled power cuts and improper coordination between Power Development Department (PDD) and Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department, the State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan, today slammed ruling PDP-BJP Coalition Government over frequent power cuts and irregular water supply in Winter Capital of State.
“Although Jammuites are made to pay power tariff but PDD is imposing long duration power cuts. For past few months, power is playing hide and seek and often goes-off for hours together in the evenings”, he said.
“We are facing immense problems due to the erratic power supply in our areas”, he said, adding that for the past sometime there have been frequent cuts in our area during this scorching heat.
It has become very difficult to spend time during power cuts in prevailing hot weather conditions, he said.
