JAMMU, Oct 25: Rakesh Chib, president of the National Conference Student Union (NCSU) was elected as president of Jammu University Research Scholars Executive Association (JURSEA) for the second time, here today.
All the six posts of the JURSEA have been occupied by the NCSU supported candidates.
Varinder Singh Waris was elected as general secretary, Inderjeet Kour as vice president, Akshay Kumar as joint secretary, Gourav Kumar as treasurer and Rachna as organizing secretary of the JURSEA.
Mr Chib while addressing the students assured that he will work dedicatedly for the welfare of the students and create an environment where the students’ fraternity will have a say.
He said Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has a dream and vision for the progress of the youth and students of the State.
