NEW DELHI : The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 1200 hrs following an uproar by Congress and Trinamool Congress members protesting against the yesterday’s ugly scene in the Lok Sabha and the Railway budget.
As soon as the House met for the day, Congress and Trinamool Congress members created ruckus and shouted slogans against the railway Budget, presented in Parliament yesterday. Chairman Hamid Ansari’s pleas went unheeded and he adjourned the House till noon.
Yesterday, BJP member Hari Narayan Rajbhar lost his temper and involved in a brawl with agitating Trinamool members, who were protesting against the Railway Budget. (AGENCIES)
